Black Beauty Eggplant seeds (Solanum melongena). This popular heirloom variety is easy to grow and produces well. The large dark purple eggplants have the classic bell shape. Harvest when skin is glossy for best flavor and texture. Productive - Eggplant germinates in 7-14 days when soil temps are 75-85°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 24-36” apart in an area with full sunlight. This variety will grow 18-24” tall, can spread up to 18” wide, and will fully mature after 80-100 days.
